About JOPS
Journal of Plant Science and Crop Production (JOPS) is an international peer-reviewed and referred journal published by the College of Plant Science and Crop Production, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). The journal publishes original and review articles in all fields of agriculture, including crop protection, horticulture, plant breeding, seed science and technology, plant physiology, crop production, soil science and land resources management. The journal welcomes outstanding contributions in these areas.
The emphasis of the journal is on basic and applied scientific research relevant to solving practical problems in agriculture and related fields. Articles submitted to JOPS should appeal to both national and international audience.
The journal is published in both print and online versions. One issue of the journal is published annually.
The Publishing Institution
COLPLANT at FUNAAB houses departments spanning plant physiology and crop production, horticulture, crop protection, soil science and land management, plant breeding and seed technology. The college has produced hundreds of graduates contributing to agricultural research, policy, and practice across Nigeria and Africa.

JOPS operates on a Gold Open Access model. APC is payable upon acceptance only. Waivers are available for authors from low-income countries.
